Reading Readiness Roundup is back!

Reading Readiness Roundup is a fun, informal way to teach parents of 4-6 year old children how to prepare for pre-school and kindergarten. The interactive workshop will help develop ways to increase literacy skills and find easy ways to help children learn to read.

Community Art Wall- January Artist Sandy Fox

Sandy Fox began as a fiber artist in 1993, but her favorite thing to do is make dolls. Each block of a quilt can take up to 4 hours to complete. Ask Sandy how she can help with your quilting project! 719-846-3855. There will be a reception on Thursday, January 15 from 4-6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

We now have OverDrive, a program to download e-books and more

The Carnegie Public Library now has OverDrive, a program that enables patrons to download eBooks to their Nook, Kindle, iPad etc. In addition to eBooks, patrons can download eAudio Books and movies to their MP3 players. We are VERY excited about this new program, which is free to Carnegie Library patrons. (All that is required is a valid library card.) Basic instructions are outlined below.
