Curbside Service during COVID-19:
We're doing what we can to serve the community! Let us know how we can help.
The Carnegie Public Library will be open for curbside service beginning Thursday, May 7th and each weekday thereafter from 10am to 3pm.
Curbside service includes pick-up of materials (books, DVDs, tax forms, etc) copies/prints, faxes and scans, as well as over-the-phone reference. If a patron needs a document printed, they should e-mail it to: firstname.lastname@example.org before they arrive.
Patrons can order materials online at: carnegie.catalog.aspencat.info, or call 719-846-6841. Please note that items can only be selected from our local collection, as courier service is not yet delivering items from other libraries.
Patrons must call when they arrive or on the way (the library building is not yet open) and staff will meet them at the car with their requests. Patrons will park in the designated spot on the southeast (back entrance, accessible from Church Street) side of the library, and pull into the parking spot one at a time. There is street parking if a patron is waiting in line: please do not block in any car. There will be a table in the parking spot where staff will leave your items. You can then exit your car to take the items-- this ensures social distancing. We're excited to see you! Please be patient with our limited staff of 2 as it might take slightly longer to fulfill your request.
We take our patrons's health seriously! Materials are sanitized upon check-in. Staff will be wearing masks, and we expect our patrons to wear masks, as well as maintain social distancing requirements. Hand sanitizer will be available.
Not comfortable with coming to the library yet? Remember that we have an online collection for e-materials that can be viewed at https://coloradodc.overdrive.com/. Patrons are encouraged to call the library with any questions: 719-846-6841
